Some people think they can workout without having to "fix their food intake" and boy, do they have it wrong. The results we get in our bodies are 70-80% from nutrition. We are what we eat, and what "it" eats too. Our food intake affects our clarity and mental focus, our energy, how our cells divide, how are muscles rebuild, how our brain functions, and even the aches and pains (or lack there of) that we feel.
Where it gets tricky is the relationship people experience with food. Most people know what to do, the trick is to actually do it. Some people use food to "stuff feelings." Some people eat when they're bored. Some people eat to cover up themselves and make themselves less attractive because someone hurt them in the past. Some people are scared of food and that it can make them fat. There can be some "stuff" to sort through, so that's where I come in.
As a Nutrition Specialists, paired with my background in Psychology, I work with people, just like you, in guiding them to sort through the habits that aren't serving them and allowing them to implement health and life-giving food and habits into their lifestyle. There is a TON of information out there and my philosophy is to keep it clean and simple, eat to live, not live to eat. Food should be enjoyed and life-giving to our bodies.
